Aryavart Bank

Aryavart Bank, a Regional Rural Bank, was constituted on 1st April, 2019 after amalgamation of two Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) namely Gramin Bank of Aryavart and Allahabad UP Gramin Bank as per Government of India Gazette notification No. 338 dated 25-01-2019. Gramin Bank of Aryavart was sponsored by Bank of India while Allahabad UP Gramin Bank was sponsored by Allahabad Bank. The amalgamated entity Aryavart Bank functions under Regional Rural Banks Act 1976 having its Head Office at Lucknow under the sponsorship of Bank of India.

The Aryavart Bank is operating in 26 districts namely Agra ,Aligarh, Ayodhya, Bahraich ,Banda ,Barabanki ,Chitrakoot ,Etah ,Farrukhabad ,Firozabad ,Hamirpur ,Hardoi ,Hathras ,Jalaun ,Kannauj ,Kasganj ,Lakhimpur ,Lucknow ,Mahoba ,Mainpuri ,Mathura ,Mirzapur ,Shravasti ,Sitapur ,Sonbhadra and Unnao in the State of Uttar Pradesh with a network of 1367 Branches & 22 Regional Offices.

All branches and Regional Offices are on CBS platform. RTGS/NEFT facility is enabled in all branches. The Head Office of the Bank is situated at Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The Regional Offices of the Bank are located at Agra ,Aligarh ,Bahraich ,Banda ,Barabanki ,Bhinga ,Biswan ,Chitrakoot ,Etah ,Farrukhabad ,Firozabad ,Hardoi ,Hathras ,Kannauj ,Lakhimpur ,Lucknow ,Mahoba ,Mainpuri ,Mirzapur ,Orai ,Sitapur and Unnao . Gramin Bank of Aryavart:

Gramin Bank of Aryavart, a Regional Rural Bank, was constituted on 1st April, 2013 after amalgamation of two Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) namely Aryavart Kshetriya Gramin Bank and Shreyas Gramin Bank as per Government of India notification No. F.No. 7/9/2011-RRB(UP-1) dated 01-04-2013. Aryavart Kshetriya Gramin Bank was sponsored by Bank of India while Shreyas Gramin Bank was sponsored by Canara Bank. The amalgamated entity Gramin Bank of Aryavart functions under Regional Rural Banks Act 1976 having its Head Office at Lucknow under the sponsorship of Bank of India.

The Gramin Bank of Aryavart is operating in 15 districts namely Lucknow, Barabanki, Farrukhabad, Hardoi, Kannauj, Unnao, Ayodhya, Mainpuri, Firozabad, Aligarh, Etah, Hathras, KashiRam Nagar, Mathura & Agra in the State of Uttar Pradesh with a network of 706 Branches & 12 Regional Offices.

Aryavart Kshetriya Gramin Bank:

Aryavart Kshetriya Gramin Bank, a Regional Rural Bank, was constituted on 1st October 2012 after amalgamation of two Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) namely Aryavart Gramin Bank and Kshetriya Kisan Gramin Bank as per Government of India notification no. F.No.1/3/2011-RRB dated 01-10-2012. Aryavart Gramin Bank was sponsored by Bank of India while Kshetriya Kisan Gramin Bank was sponsored by UP Cooperative Bank Limited Lucknow.

Aryavart Gramin Bank

Erstwhile Aryavart Gramin Bank, a Regional Rural Bank, was constituted on 3rd October 2006 after amalgamation of three Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) namely Avadh Gramin Bank, Barabanki Gramin Bank and Farrukhabad Gramin Bank as per Government of India notification no. F.No.1/4/2006-RRB dated 03-10-2006. The said three RRBs were sponsored by Bank of India and had location proximity. Like the parental bodies, the amalgamated entity functions under Regional Rural Banks Act 1976 and was sponsored by Bank of India.

The erstwhile Avadh Gramin Bank was constituted on 07-06-1977 under Regional Rural Banks Act 1976 vide Government of Indias notification no. F-1/77-RRB (III) dated 07-06-1977 as Hardoi-Unnao Gramin Bank. The name was subsequently changed to Avadh Gramin Bank on 04-12-1987 after inclusion of Lucknow district under area of operation of the Bank, vide Government of Indias notification no. F 1-27/84-RRB dated 04-12-1987. It had 120 branches at the time of amalgamation on 03-10-2006.

The erstwhile Barabanki Gramin Bank was constituted on 26-03-1976 under Regional Rural Banks Act 1976 vide Government of Indias notification no.dated 26-03-1976. It had 92 branches at the time of amalgamation on 03-10-2006.

The erstwhile Farrukhabad Gramin Bank was constituted on 29-03-1976 under Regional Rural Banks Act 1976 vide Government of Indias notification no. F 4-90/75-AC(I) dated 29-03-1976. It had 81 branches and 1 extension counter at the time of amalgamation on 03-10-2006.

Kshetriya Kisan Gramin Bank

Kshetriya Kisan Gramin Bank was established on 20-05-1980 under Regional Rural Banks Act 1976 vide Government of Indias notification no. F14-3/79-RRB(13) dated 28-10-1980. It had 63 branches at the time of amalgamation on 01-10-2012 (40 branches in Mainpuri district and 23 branches in Firozabad district) and was sponsored by U.P. Cooperative Bank Ltd., Lucknow.

Shreyas Gramin Bank:

Shreyas Gramin Bank, sponsored by Canara Bank came into existence on 1st June 2006 after amalgamation of three RRBs i.e. Aligarh Gramin Bank, Etah Gramin Bank & Jamuna Gramin Bank vide Govt. of India Notification No. F. No. : 1/4/2006-RRB (i) dated 1st June 2006. Subsequently, the area of operation of the Bank was extended to Mathura district vide Govt. of India Notification No.1/7/2007-RRB dated 22nd January 2008. The area of operation of the Bank was in Aligarh, Hathras, Etah, Manyawar Kanshiram Nagar, Agra, Mathura & Firozabad Districts with its wide network of 203 Branches.
