Area of Operation :


The Bank has 15 districts in its area of operation spread in central and western part of Uttar Pradesh. The Bank has been allotted 2429 SSAs in rural areas and 491 wards in urban areas out of these 2038 SSAs and nil wards are unbanked. The Bank has engaged four service providers to provide services through its field staff and Bank Mitras / Bank Sakhis.

Products & Services :


The Service Providers have engaged 1860 Bank Mitras / Bank Sakhis to cover all the unbanked 2038 SSAs. The Bank Mitras and Bank Sakhis have been provided with micro ATMs. These Bank Mitras are  providing following products and services through mATMs ;

  2. Aadhar Enabled Payment System (AEPS)  -  Off Us
  3. RuPay Kisan Card

  6. Intersol Money Transfer
  7.  Cardless Solution
  8.  Insurance (PMJJBY & PMSBY)

Novel scheme for sustainability of Bank Mitras / Bank Sakhis :


Bank has evolved a novel scheme for sustainability of BC model named as “BC as BF”. This schemes aims at utilizing the Bank Mitras  /Bank sakhis for various activities as extended hands of the Bank in a cost effective manner incentivizing  them to earn sustainable income. Under this scheme the following type of services are obtained :

  1. Generation of Loan applications for fresh loans under Bank’s scheme like KCC, GCC, Term Loans etc
  2. Educating existing borrowers and helping them for renewal of loans like KCC, GCC etc.
  3. Promotion of SHGs and nurturing these groups for at least one year
  4. Promotion/ Linkage of JLGs and monitoring them for one year.
  5. Monitoring and follow up of Loan accounts
  6. Recovery of NPA /Overdue amount
  7. Distribution of Bank’s notice and messages.
  8. Marketing of Solar Home Lighting systems and supervision of the laons under the scheme.
  9. Marketing insurance schemes and sourcing customers for same.
  10. Motivating customers and collecting consent letter for Aadhar seeding in accounts,
  11. Motivating persons for small value term deposits,

Financial Literacy Initiatives:


The bank has established 10 Financial Literacy Centers in 10 Districts namely, Barabanki, Lucknow , Unnao, Hardoi, Kannauj, Farukhabad, Mainpuri, Agra, Hathras and Aligarh .  The FLCs are functioning from the Regional Office premises at district head quarters.
The FLCs are functioning well and are bringing awareness in masses and developing resource persons by organizing TOTs apart from addressing queries of people / customers. The Counselors contact details are as under:
